Senior Rust Engineer

Location: Remote | Type: Full-time

We're looking for an experienced Rust developer to help build and optimize our daemon. You'll work on window capture, video encoding, and WebRTC integration across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of systems programming experience
  • Strong Rust proficiency
  • Experience with video encoding (H.264/VP9/AV1)
  • Familiarity with platform-specific APIs (Win32, Cocoa, X11)

Help us build a beautiful, performant client experience across iOS, Android, and desktop. You'll work closely with our design team to create intuitive touch interactions.

  • 3+ years of Flutter/Dart experience

Own our infrastructure. You'll manage our relay server network, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure we can scale reliably as we grow.

  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)

  • Networking expertise (STUN/TURN, WebRTC)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible)

Our Hiring Process

  3. Technical Interview - 1-hour technical discussion or pair programming
  4. Take-Home Project - Small, relevant project (paid, ~4 hours)
  5. Final Interview - Meet the team, ask questions
  6. Offer - Usually within 2 weeks of first contact
